Lusuardi says that the collection displays a return to minimalism in terms of minimalist tailoring with an athletic touch. There is also a return to bold fluorescent colors like neon pink, orange, and yellow. The trench, sailor jacket, and day jacket are reinterpreted with new fabrics and double materials, including jersey, which allows the jacket to be worn in a form fitting, smaller size that remains comfortable. The MaxMara team plays with trends like color block and stripes and focuses on the Mary Jane shoe, which is made modern with a rubber heel. Lusuardi says MaxMara is launching a new bag called Olympia, which is worn as both a handbag and shoulder bag. It's a carry-all with a minimalist design, while the sunglasses atop the eyes are more exaggerated. Everything is more personalized.
